Samoan Week

We have been learning about Samoa.  On Friday we performed for Kowhai Tawa and Pohutukawa. 

Israel

Ngaio is a winner again! This week Israel got 500+ points and is the Mathlete of the week. 

Riyansh

 Riyansh is the star of the week! He has very neat handwriting. He is helpful and strong. He is kind to new children in the class, Mrs Debney said he is a very good speller.  His friends are Israel, Pritesh and Toni. 

Cross country

We ran in the cross country. It was hard but we all did our best and persisted to the end. 
Lachlan came 1st, Israel came 2nd and Toni came 3rd.

Logan

Logan is the star of the week.Logan is a good writer. Last week he was the Mathlete of the week as well. He likes to play on the slide and reading with his elephant group. His friends are Tawera, Wi, Toni and Eli.

For f week we tried on  fancy dress.

Mei is the first Year 1 Mathlete. 
She got 500+ points last week and so her name went into the box.

Tawera is the star of the week. He is good at Maths. Mrs Wallace said he is working very hard at ABC club. He knows almost all the letters. He likes to play outside with his friends. They are  Israel, Mei, Hannah, Zantana and Pritesh. He likes to play with everyone.
