Nikunj and Divesh did some hammering at Alphabet afternoon.  Divesh made a remote control and Nikunj made a boat. 

John made a telephone.

Kane likes baking. He made us a beautiful chocolate cake. We said it was delicious, chocolatey and yummy. Thank you, Kane.

We wrote about the earthquake.

We are great writers. We are using interesting words. We stretch new words and write the sounds we can hear.  We use capital letters and full stops.

Last night was wobbly and when the earthquake started to go, we had to go under the chairs and tables. The table started to shake. We ran somewhere safe. We went outside when the shaking stopped, then we tidied up.

Last night was wobbly! It felt like an earthquake drill. It felt weird too. It was very creepy. When I was sleeping it felt like I fell off the bed, but I didn’t.

Last night was wobbly! It was an earthquake. My mum and dad did do an earthquake drill. I did hide in my covers. I thought that an asteroid was going to fall on me. Two of our pictures fell down off the wall.

Tawera, Wi and Hamish made our new Lego models. They will be great to play with when we have wet playtimes inside.

When we are six we will write all the words we can for Mrs Wallace. We are trying to improve every week. She will be very pleased if we can get more than 50. 

Tawera made a space rocket at home all by himself. It's got wings and fire!

Riann is the star of the week.

  

Riann is very kind. She helped Alyssa when she started school. She is a smart girl who is good at lots of things. She is a very good writer but sometimes she crosses out. She is a very good thinker. Riann has many friends. They are Hannah, Kaiya, Eva and Dinithi.

We went to the beach! We went on the bus and I found a shell. We had so much fun on the beach.

We went to the beach! I saw a dog in the water. We went to the beach and made a sandcastle.

We went to the beach! Pritesh found some pearly shells and some crab skins. I found different coloured rocks.

We went to the beach! We went on the bus to go to the beach and I made a sandcastle! The people in my group were India-Rose and Caleb.

We went to the beach and my family did not come. I loved going on the hover board, and my other favourite thing was the big boat because it had a telescope, that’s why I loved it!

We went to the beach! We made a sculpture. It was a vulture and it was hard to make it. We had a bucket and spade.

We went to the beach! I got some shells in my bucket, and next I flew a kite. My family didn’t go to the beach. It was very, very fun at the beach yesterday.

We went to the beach! We made kites and they flew very fast.

We went to the beach! We made a volcano and it was a big volcano. I had lots of fun. I liked the playground especially the boat. I went with Toni and Tawera.

We went to the beach and my group made sculptures. I liked mine, it was super cool. I saw lots of little shells. It was fun!
