Hamish is the star of the week. He is good at drawing the BFG and frogs. He is also good at Maths and handwriting. Hamish likes to play Star Wars in the game zone with his friends. Mrs Debney says Hamish is a kind helpful noy. They are Eli, Toni, Dhevan and Lachlan. 

Mrs Walker was very thirsty after her run. We had to predict which cup would have the largest capacity for her. We visited other classrooms and learnt about capacity.  

Alphabet afternoon was fun this week.  

We had an obstacle course to  go over and under. 

We enjoy building and making. We also like to take photos of what we make. 

O is for octopus. 
We wrote stories. We touched and looked at some little octopuses. We made some for the wall. We had to curl their tentacles around a pencil to make them bend. 

Octopuses are clever. At Te Papa. I watched the movie. I like octopuses.                    Emily

Dinithi is the star of the week! She has good handwriting. It is beautiful! Dinithi is a good listener and she likes Maths.  She has lots of friends. They are Adilla, Hannah, Emily and Kaiya.  

Playing the recorder

On Friday we played our recorders for our families. One of our songs was Hot Cross Buns. 

We were Ka wani Ke!

 On Friday we had visitors to see our art from around the world. We were experts and showed our visitors where the countries are on the map. 

We had fun making music with our shakers. They were loud!
